UnitedPlugins has released TrapTune Second-Hand Edition – a free plugin for auto-tuning vocals in your music.<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

TrapTune Second-Hand Edition is a free autotune plugin by UnitedPlugins. Its goal is to achieve the auto-tuned vocal style you’ll hear in Trap, House, and other electronic music in addition to the likes of Hip Hop. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The plugin has subtle pitch correction, a voice doubler, it features an effects section and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While it’s based on the full version of TrapTune, the Second-Hand edition has limited controls. However, you can access all presets available in the full version. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

More specifically the free plugin can load all presets from the full version but you can’t manipulate them as much as you can in the full version. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Furthermore, BPB<\/a><\/strong><\/span> reports that TrapTune Second-Hand Edition utilizes a nice user interface that’s simple and easy to use. In practice, one knob controls how intense the tuning is while additional controls let you adjust voice transposition, key, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, the plugin features a ‘Stereo mode\u2019 that activates TrapTune\u2019s doubler. As a result, the plugin projects the vocal across the stereo field for a larger sound that punches through your mix. The inclusion of a distortion effect lets you add some subtle saturation or heavy tube-like distortion to your tuned vocals<\/a><\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moreover, a simple delay effect with control over feedback and time & a plate reverb specially tuned for vocals are available too. Despite the lack of controls on the interface, you can fine-tune the reverb, distortion, and delay effect settings as you can in the full version.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
