This includes ad-free videos, offline playback, background listening, as well as full access to YouTube Music Premium, for six individuals, each with personalized recommendations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After a one-month free trial, YouTube Premium family plans in the US used to start at $17.99 per month. This price has recently been increased to $22.99 per month, or $29.99 per month for those subscribed through the Apple App Store. Pro tip, check subscription services&#8217; prices outside of the app, before subscribing through the app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>YouTube Premium individual subscriptions are staying at $11.99 per month in the US for now. <a style=\"user-select: auto;\" href=\"https:\/\/9to5google.com\/2022\/10\/20\/youtube-premium-price-hike\/\">9to5Google<\/a> reports the following price increases around the world:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>United States: $17.99 -&gt; $22.99<\/li><li>Canada: CA$17.99 -&gt; CA$22.99<\/li><li>UK: \u00a317.99 -&gt; \u00a319.99<\/li><li>Argentina: Individual plan ARS 119 -&gt; ARS 389 \u2013 Family plan ARS 179 -&gt; ARS 699<\/li><li>Turkey (individual plan): 16.99 TRY -&gt; 29.99 TRY<\/li><li>Japan: \u00a51,780 -&gt; \u00a52,280<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>While we&#8217;ve seen several music and video streaming services increase their prices by a dollar or two over the last couple of years, a $5 price jump represents an over 25% increase. YouTube have given the following announcement on their Help page:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p>Learn about price changes for YouTube paid products<\/p><p>We occasionally update our membership prices to keep up with market changes, which can include inflation and local tax changes.<\/p><p>To find your current price or understand how you\u2019re billed, go to the Purchases and Memberships page from your account. You can also cancel or change your membership at any time.<\/p><cite><a href=\"https:\/\/support.google.com\/youtube\/answer\/12400348\">YouTube<\/a><\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>YouTube have emailed all Premium family subscribers to notify them of the change. For existing subscribers, changes will take affect from the next billing cycle on or after November 21, giving them at least 30 days to change or cancel their subscription.
