While this gave Mac users a dedicated Apple Music app, Windows users have been stuck with the clunky iTunes app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Launching Apple TV on the Xbox two years ago and <a style=\"user-select: auto;\" href=\"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/how-to-play-apple-music-on-ps5\/\">Apple Music on PS5 last year<\/a>, Xbox and Windows users have been holding out for the possibility of an official Apple Music experience. This week, we finally got some updates from Microsoft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Apple Music is available on Xbox today. Both Apple Music and Apple TV are coming to the Microsoft Store for Windows 11 next year. Previews of these apps will be available later this year. Can&#8217;t wait that long? I&#8217;m afraid you&#8217;ll be stuck with <a href=\"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/apple-music-on-windows-pc\/\">iTunes for Windows<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/apple-musics-web-player-is-officially-launched\/\">the web app.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Apple integration with Microsoft doesn&#8217;t end there. iCloud Photos are coming to Windows 11. This will automatically import all of your iPhone and iPad photos into the Photos app on your PC. <a style=\"user-select: auto;\" href=\"https:\/\/blogs.windows.com\/windows-insider\/2022\/10\/12\/updated-photos-app-for-windows-11-with-icloud-photos-now-rolling-out-to-windows-insiders\/\">The iCloud for Windows app is available for Windows Insiders today.<\/a> This integration is available to all Windows 11 customers in November.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"577\" src=\"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/iCloud-Gallery1920-1024x577-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-93453 lazyload\"\/><figcaption><em>Image Credit: <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.windows.com\/devices\/2022\/10\/12\/introducing-new-surface-devices-that-take-the-windows-pc-into-the-next-era-of-computing\/\">Windows<\/a><\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s great to see Apple and Microsoft working together to enable these apps\/integrations.
