Samsung’s annual Galaxy Unpacked event saw the technology company unveil new foldable phones, smart watches and earbuds.<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro improve upon the Galaxy Buds Pro introduced at the start of 2021.<\/a> While the ANC true wireless earbuds stick to a similar design, the Buds 2 Pro improves upon first generation in many subtle ways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the sound department, the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro’s headline feature is 24-bit Hi-Fi sound quality. This is the step we’ve been waiting for. As almost all music streaming platforms begin exploring lossless audio, internet bandwidth expands and storage limits increase, the last bottleneck is wireless audio. Finally, Samsung seem to be the first major player to take the plunge into hi-fi audio in wireless earbuds. We hope to see the likes of Apple adopt hi-fi audio in competing headphones soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each Buds 2 Pro packs a 2-way speakers, 10mm woofer and 5.3mm tweeter for a wide frequency response, deep bass and crisp treble. Other audio upgrades include Enhanced 360 Audio, that tracks head movements to pin audio in 3D space, for a surround experience. We’ve seen this, as well as some of the features below on AirPods Pro, and it’s nice to see Samsung take notes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Continuing on smart audio features, Buds 2 Pro feature intelligent active noise cancellation, that will automatically switch to Ambient Mode and lower the volume when it detects you talking. Easy Pair enables quick connection via Bluetooth 5.3 to Galaxy devices, by simply opening the case and tapping the notification. Auto Switch will seemlessly transfers to the Samsung device you’re using, including your Galaxy phone, Galaxy Watch, Galaxy Tab, Galaxy Book and Samsung TV. SmartFind Things helps you locate your Buds 2 Pro, by showing you the last location the headphones were connected, and can send you an alert as you walk away and disconnect from the buds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
