JOOX is a freemium music streaming app, with the majority of the music available for free, supported by banner ads and splash ads, rather than most other music streaming apps, like Spotify, that plays audio ads between tracks. &#8220;VIP&#8221; premium subscriptions are also available for ad-free, hi-fi, offline audio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/labtop-2.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-91690 lazyload\" width=\"670\" height=\"425\"\/><figcaption><em>Image Credit: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.joox.com\/\">JOOX<\/a><\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3>How to get your own music on JOOX<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>RouteNote have been partnered with Tencent Music for some time now, helping independent artists and labels distribute their music to Chinese streaming services QQ Music, Kugou and Kuwo. Now RouteNote are expanding this partnership to include JOOX too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Existing users<\/strong>&#8216; music will be sent to JOOX automatically. Please contact <a href=\"mailto:support@routenote.com\">support@routenote.com<\/a> to opt out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a style=\"user-select: auto;\" href=\"https:\/\/routenote.com\/\"><strong>New users<\/strong> can sign up to RouteNote for free,<\/a> upload their tracks and artwork, input the metadata, then select <strong style=\"user-select: auto;\">JOOX<\/strong> on the <em style=\"user-select: auto;\">Manage Stores<\/em> page. Finally, choose between <em style=\"user-select: auto;\">Free<\/em> and <em style=\"user-select: auto;\">Premium<\/em> distribution. Free costs nothing, while you keep 85% of the revenue generated. Premium costs a small fee, while you keep 100% of the revenue. All features and stores between the models are the same. Switching tiers at any time is super easy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once your release is finalized, it&#8217;ll be sent to our moderation team and, all being well, sent off a few days later. As your music picks up streams, the statistics and payments will be made to your RouteNote account.
