All you need to do is tap the picture to jump straight to the stream from anywhere in the app. The feature update was announced by YouTube&#8217;s Chief Product Officer, Neal Mohan on Twitter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div align=\"center\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Really focused making it easier for users to find livestreams on <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/YouTube?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@YouTube<\/a> so we&#39;re rolling out the Live rings feature on mobile! <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/YouTubeCreators?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@YouTubeCreators<\/a> streaming live will now have a ring around the channel avatar &amp; clicking on the avatar will take you directly to the livestream. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/QylUbpktum\">pic.twitter.com\/QylUbpktum<\/a><\/p>&mdash; Neal Mohan (@nealmohan) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/nealmohan\/status\/1494752348895432713?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">February 18, 2022<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>We&#8217;ve seen similar features across other social media apps, such as TikTok&#8217;s pulsing ring effect for users live streaming and Instagram&#8217;s colourful ring at the top of the feed.
