The next generation of the iRig is here with 2-track recording on the go.<\/h4>\n

By now you’ve probably already heard of IK Multimedia’s iRig, a small, portable preamp that you can use to record music onto iOS and Android devices as well as PC and Mac. The iRig Pro Duo now gives you two inputs for recording 2 tracks simultaneously, anywhere.<\/p>\n

The iRig Pro Duo is powered by two AA batteries and uses USB or Micro USB (depending on what you’re plugging into) to connect to the device you’re using and can either power itself with the batteries or draw power from the device you’re using.<\/p>\n

Using the iRig Pro Duo you can record high-quality, 24-bit audio with the\u00a0ease of a mobile, plug-and-play preamp. It features two 1\/4″ \/ XLR quitar, mic and line inputs as well as a MIDI input\/output. For outputs the small device has a headphone out and 2 balanced 1\/4″ outputs.<\/p>\n

The controls don’t get much simpler for a preamp with a volume slider on the side and two gain knobs for the inputs, and an on\/off switch of course. The iRig Pro Duo also has the
\noption to turn on 48V phantom power for use with high quality condenser microphones, so the iRig is ready for the studio too.<\/p>\n

The iRig Pro Duo promises full universality coming with\u00a0every cable you will need to connect to iPhone, iPad, Android devices, Macs and PCs using Lightning, USB-OTG and USBcables. According to IK Multimedia it also comes bundled with $450 worth of software.<\/p>\n
