Rather than Spotify’s monthly listeners, we take a look at the top Spotify songs of all time from artists’ catalogues, as of January 2026.<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Streaming has become an integral part of how we consume music, and Spotify stands out as one of the leading platforms. Here\u2019s a rundown of the most-streamed artists, highlighting their enduring popularity and impact across the globe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Monthly listeners are a great way to see which artists are currently popular on the streaming service,<\/a> whereas this all-time streams list is a useful way to see the most popular artists in the last decade. We’ve also compiled more Spotify top tens such as the most-followed artists<\/a> on Spotify, the most-streamed female artists<\/a> by monthly listeners, most-streamed songs<\/a> of all time, and the most-streamed songs in a single day<\/a> \u2013 who are the common Spotify top artists that reappear across the lists?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An artist’s all-time streams aren’t shared by Spotify <\/a>with the public so this data comes from ChartMasters<\/a>, updated daily. ChartMasters explain their methodology. Their data is “based on streams from tracks available inside their personal page\u2019s sections Albums<\/em>, Singles<\/em> and Compilations<\/em>. They are combined together and defined as ‘Lead streams’.” Appears on<\/em> streams such as featured tracks are not counted towards lead streams or the ranking, but this number is listed. ChartMasters admits the full list of 1,000 artists may not be 100% accurate, but states the top of their list is thorough.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There’s been movement in the top ten most-streamed artists Spotify <\/a>list since we last checked in August last year, with all of the artists continuing to increase their streams. Unsurprisingly Taylor Swift<\/strong> is still the most-streamed artist of all time, recently surpassing 100 billion streams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the release of his seventh and eighth studio albums last year, SWAG<\/em> and SWAG II<\/em>, Justin Bieber<\/strong> has edged ahead of Eminem<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny<\/strong> holds the crown for the most-streamed male artist. Both Bad Bunny<\/strong> and Taylor Swift<\/strong> hold over 100 billion streams on Spotify. Billie Eilish<\/strong> is the youngest artist on the list at 24 years old.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
