After a new deal, Tencent Music Entertainment Group are bringing the songs of TME Music Cloud artists to Apple&#8217;s streaming service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Exact details are few and far between, but Tencent Music did say TME Music Cloud will offer promotion, royalty settlements, distribution, and data insights for a variety of record labels and music creators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a statement, <a href=\"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/tencent-invests-40m-in-gaana\/\">Tencent Music<\/a> said: \u201cBringing TME&#8217;s premium music content from Chinese labels and creators to <a href=\"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/how-much-does-apple-music-pay-artists\/\">Apple Music<\/a> users worldwide will enable music lovers to explore China&#8217;s unique music culture and genres, further enhancing the global discovery of <a href=\"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/new-distribution-deal-sony-music-netease\/\">Chinese music<\/a> and assisting in the international development of Chinese musicians.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tencent Music, China\u2019s biggest music streaming company, has been slowly deepening business relations with big Western music businesses. The company has <a href=\"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/the-big-3-warner-sony-universal-now-have-joint-labels-with-tencent\/\">joint record labels<\/a> with each of the \u201cBig Three\u201d record companies <a href=\"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/uk-music-streaming-market-competition-regulator\/\">Sony, Warner and Universal Music<\/a>, owns stakes in Universal and Warner, as well as licensing agreements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile in China Tencent has been under pressure from <a href=\"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/uk-music-streaming-market-competition-regulator\/\">competition regulators<\/a> due to its dominance of the market, leading to fines and the <a href=\"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/tencent-ordered-to-end-exclusive-deals\/\">removal of its exclusive rights deals<\/a> with labels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align:center\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"What is Music Distribution?\" width=\"720\" height=\"405\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/3-wrn7BOK-Q?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/routenote.com\">Both Tencent Music and Apple Music are RouteNote partners.
