Good news \u2013 the streaming service has now launched on the games console.<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/how-to-become-an-apple-music-artist\/\">Apple Music<\/a> is now available on PlayStation 5 around the world from Australia to Uruguay. PS5 owners with an Apple Music subscription can stream songs on their consoles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can stream music on the app independently or play tracks whilst <a href=\"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/top-10-video-game-soundtracks-of-2020\/\">gaming<\/a>. Users can access their own playlists, <a href=\"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/apple-music-launch-two-new-stations-and-rebrand-beats-1\/\">Apple Music Radio,<\/a> music videos and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Background play is a useful feature. Whilst playing a game you can hit the PS button which will bring up the Control Center and the Music Function card. There\u2019s recommendations based on the <a href=\"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/pandora-launches-game-time-exclusive-playlists-from-artists-who-love-gaming\/\">game <\/a>being played and <a href=\"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/how-much-does-apple-music-pay-artists\/\">Apple Music<\/a> gaming-themed playlists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Music videos are also able to be played in the background. The <a href=\"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/how-to-make-a-perfect-music-video\/\">video<\/a> will minimize and the audio will carry on whilst you keep playing or go to the home screen.
