Their latest and greatest update for live streamers is Live Scheduling. You can cancel live streams within 24 hours of the scheduled live stream and followers will receive a notification of the cancellation. You can reschedule live streams as long as it&#8217;s more than 45 minutes before the scheduled start time. Instagram are allowing a grace period of arriving 20 minutes early or 45 minutes late to your scheduled Live. They say nothing will happen if you don&#8217;t show up for your stream at all, but fans may lose trust in you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Creators due to go live can promote their Instagram Live via a new Stories Sticker. Fans can simply tap <em style=\"user-select: auto;\">Remind Me<\/em> to be notified closer to the time, allowing them to be there from the first minute and never miss a live stream. This could be down to the account type or location while the feature rolls out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While many other social media platforms with live video streaming such as YouTube have supported this feature for some time, it&#8217;s great to see Instagram join, as it&#8217;s a favourite for many artists and influencers to stream to huge audience numbers.
