When you\u2019re trying to stream music on TIDAL and keep getting an authorized devices error message, try these solutions first.<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Getting an error message on TIDAL<\/a> saying you can\u2019t stream music because you\u2019re apparently already using TIDAL <\/a>somewhere else?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First things first, check you\u2019re not playing music on two devices without realizing. TIDAL <\/a>only lets you stream music <\/a>in one place at a time, though you can use TIDAL in offline mode on up to five other devices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Found another device? Completely close TIDAL <\/a>on it to be able to resume streaming <\/a>elsewhere. You can also deauthorize devices by logging into my.TIDAL.com<\/a>, heading to Offline Devices<\/strong> and hitting Remove Device<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To deauthorize a device using the TIDAL app go to My Collection<\/strong>. Tap the wheel<\/strong> icon, head to Authorized Devices<\/strong> to see the list, and hit Deauthorize Device<\/strong>. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you\u2019re still getting an error message, try a good old-fashioned reboot. First check you\u2019re running the latest update of TIDAL<\/a>, then force-close and restart the app. Next try restarting your device.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Still getting an error message? Try clearing your cache<\/strong>, and check your internet connection \u2013 it\u2019s worth making sure other streaming sites are working fine as you may have a network or device hardware issue. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you\u2019re on a mobile device, try streaming through data instead of WIFI. And change your password, too, just in case you\u2019ve been hacked. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When all else fails, contact TIDAL support and explain your issue<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
