{"id":88337,"date":"2021-10-18T14:00:00","date_gmt":"2021-10-18T13:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/?p=88337"},"modified":"2021-10-18T13:12:07","modified_gmt":"2021-10-18T12:12:07","slug":"pandora-partner-with-soundcloud-to-launch-a-new-hip-hop-station-for-up-and-coming-stars","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/pandora-partner-with-soundcloud-to-launch-a-new-hip-hop-station-for-up-and-coming-stars\/","title":{"rendered":"Pandora partner with SoundCloud to launch a new hip-hop station for up-and-coming stars"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 style=\"user-select: auto;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff; user-select: auto;\">Continuing their partnership with SoundCloud, SiriusXM bring The Lookout show to their music streaming service Pandora.<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><a style=\"user-select: auto;\" href=\"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/soundcloud-just-got-investment-from-siriusxm-the-owners-of-pandora\/\">Satellite and online radio broadcaster SiriusXM invested $75 million in SoundCloud last year.<\/a> In April earlier this year, SiriusXM launched a new show, <em style=\"user-select: auto;\">The Lookout by SoundCloud<\/em>, on their Hip-Hop Nation channel. <a style=\"user-select: auto;\" href=\"https:\/\/pandora.app.link\/XYtOAbv6rkb\">Now SiriusXM are launching a station of the same name,<\/a> with the description &#8220;Catch the next generation of hip-hop legends on The Lookout by SoundCloud.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em style=\"user-select: auto;\">The Lookout by SoundCloud<\/em> on Pandora hosts new songs featured on the SiriusXM show, from new artists weekly, such as <strong style=\"user-select: auto;\">Toosii, Sheff G, Metro Marrs, Young Devyn, $NOT, Dro Kenjo,&nbsp;Cico P,&nbsp;Flo Milli,&nbsp;Nevi, SoFaygo,&nbsp;Isaiah Rashad, Sleepy Rose<\/strong>, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p>With a hit slot on SiriusXM&#8217;s Hip-Hop Nation and now a new home on Pandora, SoundCloud&#8217;s top playlist, &#8216;The Lookout&#8217;, is the go-to source with the largest digital audio reach for fans to discover the best in breaking hip hop. Joining forces with Pandora to expand &#8216;The Lookout by SoundCloud&#8217; amps up our shared commitment to help the emerging hip-hop artist community to get heard and discovered.<\/p><cite>Caiaffa, Interim Head of Music, SoundCloud<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>The show and new station originates from one of SoundCloud&#8217;s most popular playlists, The Lookout.
