As is true with most other platforms and the format as a whole, podcasts have continued to grow on Deezer, with a 61% increase in audio content streaming in the last year. The music streaming platform is also bringing in new listeners to the format too, with a 40% growth of podcast active users in the same period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3>Most Popular Podcasts<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><a href=\"https:\/\/deezer.page.link\/HZY5enhAtKs5YqLg6\">TED Talks Daily<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/deezer.page.link\/9zk9J8P1iyZRtHQL7\">The Daily<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/deezer.page.link\/5qUv9BRc4Rt992MK7\">Distractible<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/deezer.page.link\/K9QW5uSU7cBAoWCMA\">All Ears English<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/deezer.page.link\/Zzy5CQbqWad2sZnm6\">Anything Goes with Emma Chamberlain<\/a><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3>Top Genres<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The most popular genres over the past year were <em>Culture &amp; Society<\/em>, <em>Comedy<\/em>, <em>True Crime<\/em>, <em>Music &amp; Audio Comments<\/em>, followed by <em>Education<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3>Top Countries<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The top country for podcast streams was unsurprisingly the service&#8217;s founding country, France. Brazil, Germany, the UK and Mexico make up the remaining top five. Deezer says Brits spending the longest time streaming podcasts, with an average length of 40 minutes each session, against countries like France and Brazil who prefer quick bursts of under 10 minutes.
