Here are a handful of troubleshooting tips to try before losing your mind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong style=\"user-select: auto;\">Restart the app<\/strong><ul style=\"user-select: auto;\"><li>Completely quit the app and any other apps you&#8217;re not using on desktop or mobile<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong style=\"user-select: auto;\">Log out and in again<\/strong><ul style=\"user-select: auto;\"><li>On <strong style=\"user-select: auto;\">mobile<\/strong>: tap the cog in the top right corner of the <em style=\"user-select: auto;\">Home<\/em> tab, then scroll down to <em style=\"user-select: auto;\">Log out<\/em><\/li><li>On <strong style=\"user-select: auto;\">desktop<\/strong>: you&#8217;ll find <em style=\"user-select: auto;\">Log out<\/em> in the drop down menu under your name or profile picture in the top right corner<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong style=\"user-select: auto;\">Make sure the app is up-to-date<\/strong><ul style=\"user-select: auto;\"><li>On <strong style=\"user-select: auto;\">mobile<\/strong>: head to the App Store or Play Store to ensure you&#8217;re using the latest version of the app<\/li><li>On <strong style=\"user-select: auto;\">desktop<\/strong>: a blue dot appears next to the arrow beside your name in the top right corner if your app needs updating. Pull down the menu to update.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong style=\"user-select: auto;\">Check you&#8217;re not in offline mode<\/strong><ul style=\"user-select: auto;\"><li>On <strong style=\"user-select: auto;\">mobile<\/strong>: tap the cog in the top right corner of the <em style=\"user-select: auto;\">Home<\/em> tab, tap <em style=\"user-select: auto;\">Playback<\/em> and ensure the <em style=\"user-select: auto;\">Offline<\/em> toggle is switched off<\/li><li>On <strong>desktop<\/strong>, find <em style=\"user-select: auto;\">Offline Mode<\/em> in the menu bar. On a PC, this is the three dot in the top left corner<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Reinstall the app<\/strong><ul style=\"user-select: auto;\"><li>Uninstall the app and redownload it<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/spotifystatus\"><strong>Check @SpotifyStatus on Twitter for any ongoing issues<\/strong><\/a><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h5>Is it the device you&#8217;re using?<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Try Spotify on a different device or <a style=\"user-select: auto;\" href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/\">the web player<\/a> with the same login. If the error doesn&#8217;t persist, it could be an issue with your device. Check your device has at least 250MB or available memory.
