Software developer Overloud<\/a> is giving away 1,000 licenses to its Roland Dimension D emulation, Gem Mod, every day until 27th September.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Overload says that the Gem Mod is a \u201chyper-realistic simulation\u201d of the original Dimension D chorus effect used extensively on vocals in the \u201980s and \u201990s. Artists such as Brian Eno, Kate Bush, and Talking Heads were avid users.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gem Mod has extensive capabilities of Roland\u2019s chorus unit with features such as an input envelope
that dynamically controls all main parameters. There are also custom LFO shapes for nuanced modulation behavior and modulation rates that you can sync to your DAW\u2019s BPM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Overloud\u2019s rendition of the Dimension D also features input saturation with the harmonic generation, control over speed, shape, depth, and amount. There are also 10 presets that come pre-installed to get you started with a new chorus patch, along with A\/B comparisons.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gem Mod is usually priced at $99 and is available in VST, AU, and AAX formats for MacOS and Windows. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
