Ed Sheeran’s fourth solo album heads straight to the number one album on Apple Music by pre-adds, two months before release.<\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Due for release on 29th October, Ed Sheeran – =<\/em><\/a> takes the top spot on Apple Music’s pre-add chart for the week of 20th August – 26th August. =<\/em> or “equals” is Ed Sheeran’s first album since 2019’s No. 6 Collaborations Project<\/em> and his first solo album since \u00f7<\/em> (“divide”) in 2017. The lead single Bad Habits<\/em> dropped in June and is currently sitting at number two on the Billboard Hot 100. The second single from =<\/em> is Visiting Hours<\/em>, which debuted on this week’s Hot 100 at number 75.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
