{"id":87502,"date":"2021-09-01T15:00:00","date_gmt":"2021-09-01T14:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/?p=87502"},"modified":"2021-09-01T14:08:46","modified_gmt":"2021-09-01T13:08:46","slug":"ticketed-spaces-to-more-creators","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/ticketed-spaces-to-more-creators\/","title":{"rendered":"Twitter introduce Ticketed Spaces to more creators on iOS"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h4 style=\"user-select: auto;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff; user-select: auto;\">Twitter are opening up their monetization tool to more creators on their social audio feature and Clubhouse competitor, Spaces.<\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Launced in December, Spaces are Twitter&#8217;s answer to Clubhouse, allowing creators to host live audio rooms. <a style=\"user-select: auto;\" href=\"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/twitter-spaces-is-open-for-all\/\">As Spaces rolled out to more creators in May, Twitter announced plans for Ticketed Spaces, their monetization tool.<\/a> <a style=\"user-select: auto;\" href=\"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/twitter-launches-super-follows-and-ticketed-spaces\/\">Applications for Ticketed Spaces and Super Follows opened in June.<\/a> Now Twitter are opening Ticketed Spaces up to more creators on iOS, with plans to expand it everywhere soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">we want to help people creating cool Spaces make $$$. today, some Hosts will be able create Ticketed Spaces! <br><br>we\u2019re experimenting on iOS only for now but we hope to get it to everyone soon. know it\u2019s taking us a little time, but we want to get this right for you! <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/xc68yWkOim\">https:\/\/t.co\/xc68yWkOim<\/a><\/p>&mdash; Spaces (@TwitterSpaces) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TwitterSpaces\/status\/1430965572326526990?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">August 26, 2021<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Ticketed Spaces allow hosts to monetize live rooms by charging a fee and gives fans a way to support their favourite creator in exchange for exclusive access to content. Hosts can charge between $1 and $999 for any set number of ticketed. The creator keeps 97% of the revenue, after Apple App Store\/Google Play Store fees. Ticketed Spaces differ from Clubhouse&#8217;s Payments feature, that allows audiences to tip creators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You must be 18 years or older, have at least 1,000 active followers and hosted three or more Spaces in the last 30 days. To see if you&#8217;re eligible, tap your profile picture in the top left of the iOS app, tap <em style=\"user-select: auto;\">Monetization<\/em>, then <em style=\"user-select: auto;\">Ticketed Spaces<\/em>. Scroll down and tap <em style=\"user-select: auto;\">Check eligibility<\/em>. <a style=\"user-select: auto;\" href=\"https:\/\/help.twitter.com\/en\/rules-and-policies\/ticketed-spaces-policy\">Click here to see Twitter&#8217;s full eligibility requirements for Ticketed Spaces.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unfortunately there&#8217;s currently no way to reschedule Ticketed Spaces. Creators must cancel a scheduled room, then schedule a new room.
