Song Breaker Chart from Billboard and Logitech is a monthly ranking highlighting creators driving music consumption through content creation.<\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Billboard have partnered with Logitech For Creators<\/a>, a brand extension of tech company Logitech that helps creators pursue their passions, to launch Song Breaker Chart. The first of its kind chart is a new standard ranking that recognizes and gives credit to creators that impact the music industry and help songs break into the Billboard Hot 100 through memes and dance challenges. Creators on TikTok and YouTube have changed the way we listen to music, helping amplify new music and introducing new audiences to classics on social media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Song Breaker Chart is inspired by Logitech’s Song Breaker Awards in collaboration with TikTok that celebrates creators and their role in curating our music playlists and pop culture. The awards show held earlier this year had more than half a million unique viewers<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first chart is live today,<\/a> with updates coming on the second Tuesday of each month. Rankings are created using a blend of engagement and view data provided to Billboard by analytics partner Shareablee. Top of the chart this month is Usim E. Mang (@usimmango<\/a>) who is the originator of the synchronized sway to “Alors on Danse” by Stromae. In second place is Vanessa Clark (@glitchgirlmaster<\/a>) who popularized the “glitching” trend to “Get Ur Freak On” by Missy Elliot and “Kurxxed Emeraldz” by Luci4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I never thought of being on a chart, it\u2019s like a next-level type of popular. Music brings the best out of us, especially weird dance moves. With the glitch, it was me doing random moves to songs with amazing beats like Missy Elliott\u2019s \u2018Get Ur Freak On\u2019 and Luci4\u2019s \u2018Kurxxed Emeraldz.\u2019 If you have a weird dance move that you want to pair with a song, make a TikTok about it, no need to be shy, be you.
