He also commented on how a label can sometimes erode the fun and creativity an artist has. Suga did however praise their label <a href=\"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/producer-competition-for-big-hit-music\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Big Hit Music<\/a> for \u201clistening to the artist&#8217;s opinions.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the interview with <a href=\"https:\/\/magazine.weverse.io\/article\/view?lang=en&amp;num=214\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Weverse Magazine<\/a> Suga said: \u201cThe way artists work seems so difficult.\u201d Continuing: \u201cThey make an appearance on a different music show every day once the promotional period begins, meaning the exhaustion artists face is enormous, and that fatigue often results in injuries as it adds up. That kind of music show is for promotional purposes, so it\u2019s not like the artists can earn a proper income from them.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Suga also commented on there needs to be improvements to how the music industry could and should accommodate artists, from their views to their health.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One statement he made was particularly interesting: \u201cI think that\u2019s the biggest issue and it\u2019s destroying the industry. If you just see the artist as a product, how can they do anything creative? I really think it\u2019s very contradictory to ask the people on stage to put on an enjoyable performance when they\u2019re experiencing neither fun nor enjoyment.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is something that a lot of artists worry about when signing to a major label, a concern that <a href=\"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/the-advantages-and-disadvantages-of-operating-as-a-diy-artist\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">DIY artists<\/a> and independent artists cite as being a reason why they enjoy <a href=\"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/why-are-artists-wanting-to-be-signed-to-a-diy-label\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">operating independently<\/a>.
