Deezer Free listeners can now play songs through their Google Home and Google Nest smart speakers and displays.<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Deezer <\/a>have announced that users of Deezer Free<\/a> can use their Google Assistant smart speakers <\/a>and displays for listening. The streaming service is rolling out the change from today onwards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To set up Deezer <\/a>with Google Home and Nest devices, Deezer Free<\/a> users must make Deezer <\/a>the default music service on the Google Home app. From then on tracks will play with a simple command of: \u201cHey Google, play my music.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nicolas Pinoteau, Deezer\u2019s <\/a>Director of Partnership Integration, said: \u201cWe want everyone to play their favourite tunes at home, even if they\u2019re not a paying subscriber. So whether you like chill out music or working out to the latest fitness playlists, just ask Google Assistant to play from Deezer<\/a>!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deezer <\/a>said users can ask their smart speaker<\/a> to play a mix of songs tailored to whatever mood they\u2019re in \u2013 for example asking for \u201cHappy Music.\u201d There\u2019s also soundtracks to workouts, and users can request specific artists or playlists. Asking for Google Assistant to play their \u201cFlow\u201d will begin a playlist of songs personalised to the listener\u2019s individual music taste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deezer <\/a>Free is a freemium subscription to the streaming platform, with advertisements and six song skips per hour. The new Google Assistant compatibility is available in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Spain, the UK and the US.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
