Barcelona-based music technology company <a href=\"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/ifpi-and-bmat-launch-soundsys-a-distribution-system-for-performance-rights-revenue-collection\/\">BMAT<\/a> gathers data collected from Apple Music, Spotify and<a href=\"http:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/how-to-get-your-music-on-amazon-music-unlimited-for-free\/\"> Amazon Music<\/a>, the three leading streaming services in India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/indianmi.org\/\">IMI<\/a>, an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ifpi.org\/\">IFPI<\/a> affiliate, is a body which protects the Indian record industry&#8217;s interests. Exponential growth of smart phones coupled with a plethora of streaming services has taken international recorded music to the remotest part of India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cInternational music today is no longer a metro or city centric genre, it&#8217;s pan India, and the IMI International Charts will be a true representation of what India listens to.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As the chart is comprised of <a href=\"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/can-i-upload-my-music-to-spotify-yes-and-its-free\/\">Spotify<\/a>, Amazon Music and <a href=\"http:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/how-to-get-my-music-on-apple-music-for-free-2\/\">Apple Music<\/a> streaming data, it doesn&#8217;t take into account local Indian digital service providers such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.routenote.com\/partner\">RouteNote<\/a> partner <a href=\"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/how-to-upload-my-music-to-jiosaavn\/\">JioSaavn<\/a>. The top five songs on the Top 20 Singles chart for the week ending 21 June 2021 are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol type=\"1\"><li><strong>BTS \u2013 Butter<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Dua Lipa \u2013 Levitating<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Lil Nas X \u2013 MONTERO (Call Me By Your Name)<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Justin Bieber \u2013 Peaches (feat.
