It\u2019s a fantastic place to discover brand new music \u2013 and loyal fans can keep up-to-date with what their favourite superstar artists are releasing next.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Publicly displayed on Spotify in the <em>About<\/em> section of an artist profile, which artist has the most followers on <a style=\"user-select: auto;\" href=\"http:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/how-to-customize-your-spotify-artist-profile\/\">Spotify<\/a>? Check out the <a style=\"user-select: auto;\" href=\"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/who-are-the-biggest-artists-in-the-world-in-2021\/\">top ten<\/a> biggest artists on <a style=\"user-select: auto;\" href=\"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/how-to-release-music-on-spotify\/\">Spotify<\/a>, according to how many followers they have currently, in January 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Every artist in the top ten has over 80 million followers, with the top nine all exceeding 100 million. Indian musician <strong>Arijit Singh<\/strong> takes the crown at over 170 million followers. <strong>Taylor Swift<\/strong> is the most-followed female artist. <strong>Billie Eilish<\/strong> is the youngest artist on the list at 24 years old.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We last updated this list in July last year. Beyond increases across the board, the only move in the last six months is <strong>Bad Bunny<\/strong> rising from ninth to seventh, ahead of <strong>Eminem<\/strong> and <strong>Drake<\/strong>.
