Despite its ever-growing popularity, TikTok<\/a> is dismissed by many people as a silly app for teenagers. What those same people don\u2019t realise is that the short video app is a rabbit warren of discovery \u2013 in the endless scroll, you might just learn something. And one of those skills is learning music production on TikTok.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the biggest barriers for beginner producers<\/a> who want to get started in music production is having to sift through complicated advice online. There\u2019s nothing more off-putting than trying to Google a simple query like \u201cHow to add plugins<\/a> to FL Studio\u201d and wasting time not being able to find a simple solution. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

YouTube<\/a> tutorials are incredibly helpful, but you often need patience to sit through sales-speak and preamble before getting to the useful bits,<\/a> when all you were after was a simple definition of a music production term.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
