Vox are debuting their VX series with the VXI and VXII.
\nThey say that after almost 15 years of increasing the quality of their digital modelling technology they have created amps that they say is “an evolutionary step for modelling technology”.<\/p>\n

There are 11 amp models included – Deluxe CL, Tweed 4×10, Boutique CL, Boutique OD, Vox AC30, Vox AC30TB, Brit 1959, Brit 800, Brit VM, SL-OD and Double Rec – and the new models come with eight built in effects – chorus, flanger, phaser, tremolo, analogue delay, tape echo, plus spring and hall reverbs.<\/p>\n

The VX series features Vox’s new VET (Virtual Element Technology) modelling technology which emulates the circuitry of the amp it’s recreating, offering some of the most accurate modelling available.<\/p>\n

Vox’s brand manager, Brian Piccolo, said: “The VX series will aim to appeal to all types of customers: from beginners all the way to seasoned pros because the sound quality combined with a host of easy-to-use features and a lightweight construction makes these the ideal practice amps.
\n“The VX I and VX II represent VOX’s desire to evolve the typical practice amplifier, as well as the conventional modeling amplifier”.<\/p>\n

The VXII also comes with a USB port allowing you to plug into your computer and record via PC, Mac and iOS using the included JamVOX III modelling software.<\/p>\n

The Vox VXI and VXII are available from the end of June for \u00a390 and \u00a3138 respectively.<\/p>\n
