It was later confirmed official by their publicist via Pitchfork.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the wake of their announcement their streams and digital album sales skyrocketed. Streams were up 500% (compared to the day before their announcement) and digital album sales soared to a staggering 2,650%, there was also a 1,335% increase in single song sales too.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/artist\/4tZwfgrHOc3mvqYlEYSvVi?si=3uWa3k_CTBiC7sQ1FUnTWA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Daft Punk<\/a><\/strong>\u2019s iconic and arguably career defining album<a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/album\/2noRn2Aes5aoNVsU6iWThc?si=_hCQC1ffQKGiQt4zh2R66w\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> <strong><em>\u2018Discovery\u2019<\/em><\/strong><\/a>, which features hits such as \u2018One More Time\u2019, \u2018Digital Love\u2019 and \u2018Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger\u2019, being the most popular among listeners. The 2001 LP was streamed over 1.5 million times on Monday &#8211; an increase of 429% (compared to the previous day).
