New video series \u2018Uncovered\u2019 will celebrate new female jazz talent, starting with chart-topper Celeste.<\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Women In Jazz<\/a> host a monthly radio show on Soho Radio, organise live events and broadcasts, and run a talent development program amongst other educational work. Now the organisation has launched a new digital editorial platform. ‘Uncovered’, their first YouTube<\/a> show, features interviews and live performances from some of the brightest female stars of the jazz world.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Women In Jazz are an organisation dedicated to championing female talent<\/a> in the genre. Alarming statistic time: despite the current jazz renaissance<\/a> happening in the UK, especially in London, only 5% of all jazz instrumentalists in the UK are women. Women In Jazz founders Louise Paley and Nina Fine are all about addressing the problems of gender disparity in jazz from a positive, proactive standpoint; celebrating performers, professionals and producers working hard to make an impact on the music scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
