However, the leadership team will remain at the company and no changes to its management structure or operation policies.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Speaking on the move President and co-founder Bob Taylor said: <em>\u201cWe have delighted in giving people the joy of music and hope to do so for generations to come. Becoming 100% ESOP allows us to ensure our independence for the long-term future and continue to realise our vision for the company as an innovative guitar manufacturer.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kurt Listug, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.taylorguitars.com\/\">Taylor<\/a> co-founder and CEO added: <em>\u201cWhile Bob and I are not retiring, we have been preparing for our eventual exit. Master guitar designer&nbsp;<\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/guitar.com\/features\/interviews\/taylor-gt-design-andy-powers\/\"><em>Andy Powers<\/em><\/a><em>&nbsp;is not only the wellspring of our guitar designs for the future, but he also joined our leadership team several years ago, and strengthening our leadership team has been essential to our succession planning.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h5 style=\"text-align:center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/fender-has-record-year-for-sales-amid-coronavirus-pandemic\/\">Fender Guitar Sales Soar During Pandemic<\/a><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><em>The move however, isn\u2019t just about ensuring the future of the company but it\u2019s also financially beneficial for those responsible for its success. As Listug explains: &nbsp;\u201cWe believe we\u2019ve created a special company, where passionate people can engage in problem-solving innovation, collaboration and respect,\u201d he said. \u201cSecuring our independence through an ESOP allows us to strengthen this culture.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Employees at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.taylorguitars.com\/\">Taylor<\/a>\u2019s production facility in Tecate, Baja California, Mexico will also participate in the ESOP plan.
