It’s clear Tidal are hoping to take the world of music streaming by storm, offering exclusive CD-Quality tracks, partnering with Meridian<\/a>, Jay Z’s recent buy into the company<\/a> and now recent reports show Tidal is looking to expand its platform to 22 new countries before the end of March.<\/p>\n

The company are looking to Austria, Czech Republic, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, France, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Switzerland, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, South Africa and Turkey. If all goes well, they will join the U.S., Canada, the UK, Ireland, Finland, the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg.<\/p>\n

Tidal have made huge efforts recently to ensure high-resolution streaming can be enjoyed by all, and they must be doing something right with parent company Aspiro (the company also behind WiMP) shows a 75% increase in paying Hi-Fi users from the previous quarter.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe continue to accelerate our expansion, as demand for our product keeps rising. Besides directly from consumers, we are also seeing a very strong growth from new home audio partners. We now have 37 confirmed partners to offer Tidal across the broadest selection of home audio systems.\u201d -Tidal CEO Andy Chen<\/p>\n

Tidal have recently integrated its services into a number of top home audio products, from Sonos, Bluesound, Linn, Simple Audio, Auralic, Mirage, Squeezebox, Amarra sQ, Mcintosh, Wadia, Electrocompaniet and Meridian.<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter just three months live with Tidal in the US, we are already seeing 18% of streams coming from home audio systems, increasing steadily month by month, as new integrations get up and running.”<\/p>\n
