ways the streaming service have stepped up their game since touring came to a stand still for so many artists around the world. <a monthly listeners in 2020.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5>Supporting the Global Music Community<br \/><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>March: <a href=\"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/spotify-adds-a-button-for-fans-to-give-money-directly-to-artists\/\" style=\"user-select: auto;\">Spotify launched their COVID-19 Music Relief Project, that together with partners donated $20 million to music community members.<\/a><\/li><li>April: <a href=\"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/spotify-adds-a-button-for-fans-to-give-money-directly-to-artists\/\" style=\"user-select: auto;\">Spotify added a button for fans to give money directly to venues.<\/a><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5>Expanding Canvas<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Spotify have slowly been rolling out 3-8 second looping animated album arts starting with labels and high profile artists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>June: <a href=\"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/share-music-with-special-moving-art-as-spotify-canvas-shares-come-to-listeners-too\/\" style=\"user-select: auto;\">Spotify in beta, Spotify have found users who see a Canvas are 5% more likely to continue streaming, 145% more likely to share the track, 20% more likely to add it to their playlist, 1.4% more likely to save
