The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have joined Spotify\u2019s growing podcast empire, announcing that they\u2019ve signed a multi-year deal alongside launching their own audio production company Archewell Audio.<\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Meghan and Harry\u2019s plans with the streaming giant is the latest signal that Spotify<\/a> are moving away from their music roots. The royal couple\u2019s new business venture will produce podcasts, in partnership with Spotify\u2019s Gimlet studio<\/a>, that highlight and elevate diverse perspectives and voices. The series will look back over the struggles of 2020, but in a positive way.<\/span> In the podcast trailer<\/a>, the couple said the series would <\/span>\u2018bring forward different perspectives and voices that perhaps you haven\u2019t heard before and find our common ground\u2019 whilst celebrating ‘kindness and compassion\u2019<\/b>. Now who could argue with that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
