RTL Group, the European TV and radio conglomerate has confirmed that have acquired the Fashion focused YouTube Network <\/a>StyleHaul for $151 million. <\/p>\n

There\u2019s another $50 million in potential earn-outs available, and RTL says it will also put in another $20 million to fund the company\u2019s expansion. StyleHaul had raised $17 million altogether, including an investment from Bertelsmann, the media giant that also owns a majority stake in RTL.<\/p>\n

The StyleHaul sale was expected, but not at this kind of price. Compared to $950 million acquisition of Maker Studios and $300 million acquisition of Fullscreen. However, that being said there were also a lot of digital video pros who predicted the price would end up between $60 – $80 million range. <\/p>\n

StyleHaul\u2019s network of viewers is considerably smaller than Maker\u2019s and Fullscreen\u2019s \u2014 StyleHaul CEO Stephanie Horbaczewski says she attracts a billion views a month, and both Maker and Fullscreen are over 6 billion.<\/p>\n
