We Are Hunted<\/a> was acquired by Twitter and they have now confirmed they are closing down their service to focus on building a Twitter music application. <\/p>\n

The company\u2019s homepage now explains that the service is shutting down, and what that means for users:<\/p>\n

We Are Hunted is still yet to comment on what their working on with Twitter and no figures have been disclosed about the acquisition. From what I understand it was basically an acqui-hire.<\/p>\n
