Soundrop allows Spotify users to listen and discover new music in specific rooms (similar to Turntable.fm). Soundrop had over 60 million song plays in its more than 7,000 rooms in May alone.<\/p>\n

Soundrop co-founder and CEO Inge Sandvik attributed much of this success to one of the key problems a service like Spotify has: It\u2019s great when you know what you want to listen to \u2013 but doesn\u2019t expose new music very well.
