It has been described as the world&#8217;s first <i>\u201cmade for TV\u201d<\/i> music service and has several key figures as backers, including <a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/artist\/2HcwFjNelS49kFbfvMxQYw?si=xLs8EWiMTH2X4jSxpolWkg\">Robbie Williams<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/artist\/4RVnAU35WRWra6OZ3CbbMA?si=lqCGNEWbQJGURd_yZnYKRg\">Kylie Minogue<\/a> and former <a href=\"https:\/\/www.universalmusic.com\/label\/emi\/\">EMI<\/a> chairman Guy Hands. It also counts <a href=\"https:\/\/www.universalmusic.com\/#\">Universal Music<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wmg.com\/\">Warner Music<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sonymusic.co.uk\/\">Sony Music<\/a> as shareholders and <a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/artist\/51Blml2LZPmy7TTiAg47vQ?si=QmHKillMRFSM-Q5MDGYJfA\">U2<\/a>\u2019s former manager Paul McGuinness. In addition this the private equity firm <a href=\"https:\/\/suncapitalpartners.co.uk\/\">Sun Capital<\/a> has recently pitched in as an investor. Talking about their investment co-founder Edward Spencer-Churchill said: <em>\u201cWe are excited by Roxi\u2019s opportunity to deliver unique, fun music entertainment experiences into the home. The potential is huge, with mass-market appeal and a nation waiting to be entertained.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Speaking about the service <a href=\"https:\/\/buy.roxi.tv\/?gclsrc=aw.ds&amp;&amp;gclid=CjwKCAiAq8f-BRBtEiwAGr3DgQZEZ9FeV8ENqFckeOWe8dSzDQkd-wvtZnfcS5rtJbxmL-ggPUQtjhoCQUkQAvD_BwE&amp;gclsrc=aw.ds\">Roxi<\/a> founder Rob Lewis explained: <i>\u201cWe have seen huge growth during lockdown<\/i>, <i>with people using their TVs for more interactive entertainment at home.\u201d<\/i> He continues, <em>\u201cThe fundamental thing is when you are looking at a potential initial public offering in the future you want to be growing as quickly as you possibly can be. And with this funding, Roxi is ready to start to roll out on other platforms and in other countries.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to a recent article in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/music\/2020\/dec\/07\/uk-music-streaming-startup-backed-by-kylie-secures-13m-funding\">The Guardian<\/a> investors have helped <a href=\"https:\/\/buy.roxi.tv\/?gclsrc=aw.ds&amp;&amp;gclid=CjwKCAiAq8f-BRBtEiwAGr3DgQZEZ9FeV8ENqFckeOWe8dSzDQkd-wvtZnfcS5rtJbxmL-ggPUQtjhoCQUkQAvD_BwE&amp;gclsrc=aw.ds\">Roxi <\/a>get well on its way to a potential \u00a3200m flotation on London\u2019s stock market. The latest funding values the platform at around \u00a350m, this will be used to expand <a href=\"https:\/\/buy.roxi.tv\/?gclsrc=aw.ds&amp;&amp;gclid=CjwKCAiAq8f-BRBtEiwAGr3DgQZEZ9FeV8ENqFckeOWe8dSzDQkd-wvtZnfcS5rtJbxmL-ggPUQtjhoCQUkQAvD_BwE&amp;gclsrc=aw.ds\">Roxi<\/a> to 500m devices by 2022.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/artist\/4RVnAU35WRWra6OZ3CbbMA?si=JVDjxuwSSKWlIz2eXCQF4g\">Kylie Minogue<\/a> &#8211; who was announced an an investor last month &#8211; also signed a three-year deal that will see her from <a href=\"https:\/\/buy.roxi.tv\/?gclsrc=aw.ds&amp;&amp;gclid=CjwKCAiAq8f-BRBtEiwAGr3DgQZEZ9FeV8ENqFckeOWe8dSzDQkd-wvtZnfcS5rtJbxmL-ggPUQtjhoCQUkQAvD_BwE&amp;gclsrc=aw.ds\">Roxi<\/a>\u2019s advertising campaigns.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The service will have some stiff competition from the <a href=\"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/spotify-stock-hits-an-all-time-high\/\">already established streaming giants <\/a>but their niche features may help them overcome the competition.
