LG managed to still nail the basics with great sound quality thanks to Meridian Audio, a compact charging case, wireless charging, strong battery life and IPX4 water resistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yesterday, LG announced an update to their earbud line with the HBS-FN7. LG&#8217;s FN7s keep the sound powered by Meridian Sound&#8217;s Digital Signal Processing, UV case, in-ear stem design and EQ adjustments in the app. This time bringing active noise cancellation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While the FN6 provided a strong amount of passive noise isolation with the in-ear tips, FN7 build upon this by pairing it with ANC. Active noise cancellation uses three microphones on each earbud to monitor soundwaves from all directions and neutralizes external sounds. Adjustable ear gels with twist-fit Vortex Ribs provides a tighter in-ear seal.
