Other tags can be used to identify the point of origin of a particular file, or record the number of times it has been played, duplicated, altered etc&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/music-dna.PNG\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-2683 alignright lazyload\" style=\"margin: 5px;\" title=\"music dna\" src=\"http:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/music-dna-253x300.PNG\" alt=\"music dna\" width=\"253\" height=\"300\" data-srcset=\"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/music-dna-253x300.PNG 253w, https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/music-dna.PNG 280w\" sizes=\"auto\" \/><\/a>This richness of ingerent information in a file could be put to a lot of different uses &#8211; making it easier to find other types of music a listener is likely to enjoy, building playlists of similar music, automating web radio stations to play particular kinds of music, combatting piracy by tracing files back to their source, in fact, any purpose that the industry can devise:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>MusicDNA<\/strong><strong>&#x2122; <\/strong>is BACH\u2019s core technology that is developed in cooperation with the Fraunhofer Institute of Digital MediaTechnologies (IDMT).
