Bose have appointed their new CEO who will take the reins of the company infamous for it’s innovative audio and music technology.<\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Lila Snyder steps into the role as Chief Executive Officer for one of the world’s leading audio technology brands. She takes the role of Phil Hess who stepped down from his role after 2 years at the reins of Bose in March, potentially due to it’s uncertain sales in recent years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Facing fierce competition in the audio industry and a huge new market currently dominated by Apple in True Wireless Sound, reports have suggested Bose might not be seeing the success they’d like at the moment. At the start of the year they announced they will close 119 Bose stores<\/a> across North America, Europe, Australia, and Japan citing the shift to online shopping.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lila Snyder may be the breath of fresh air that Bose needs to navigate a transforming industry and pull itself back into the limelight. She takes on her new role from her most recent position as president of global e-commerce at Pitney Bowes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bose Chairman, Bob Maresca broke the news saying: “We wanted the absolute best person, no matter how long the search took. Lila’s background, experience, track record and values are right for Bose, for the exceptional people who work here, and for our amazing customers who count on us every day.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bose customers have been long-awaiting the launch of their new noise-cancelling wireless earbuds which they say have taken longer than they expected to manufacture.
