As Koda cannot accept the reduced royalties, Danish music videos under Koda may be takendown from YouTube.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>YouTube responded to this claim, in a statement to <a style=\"user-select: auto;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.musicbusinessworldwide.com\/youtube-threatens-to-remove-music-content-in-denmark-over-songwriter-royalty-fallout\/\">MBW<\/a>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p>While we\u2019ve had productive conversations we have been unable to secure a fair and equitable agreement before our existing one expired. They are asking for substantially more than what we pay our other partners.
