Reports claim Red Bull are to sell or shutdown their network of global record studios, as tensions within the company cause its music division to collapse.<\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n

This comes from a whistleblower in Australia reporting to Music Business Worldwide<\/a> who claims management have told staff Red Bull will be ending all music projects and cancelling all music events. Previous events include the festivals run in London, Los Angeles and New York.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Red Bull runs a collection of 11 studios in locations including New York, Los Angeles, London, Berlin, Amsterdam, Auckland, Cape Town, Sao Paulo, Tokyo and Paris.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This isn’t the first we’ve seen of Red Bull cutting ties with the entertainment industry. In 2019 the company closed Red Bull Music Academy and Red Bull Radio.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Red Bull has decided to strengthen the focus of its culture marketing programs on where it makes most impact. Culture programs that remain will include Red Bull BC One, Red Bull Dance Your Style and Red Bull Batalla de los Gallos. Many other culture marketing activities will be discontinued. In time, we will share the local activations that remain. On the music side Red Bull Records will continue.<\/p>Spokesperson to MBW<\/a><\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Chief executive Stefan Kozak and president\/chief marketing officer Amy Taylor from Red Bull in North America have left the company over the companies reaction to the Black Lives Matter protests and claims of racism within the company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some U.S. employees had recently raised concerns about what they considered the company\u2019s inaction on the Black Lives Matter movement and about a racist slide that was in a presentation given at a company event in February.<\/p>The Wall Street Journal<\/a><\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

In response to these claims, Red Bull replied in a statement:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We reject racism in every form, we always have, and we always will. Red Bull has always put people and their dreams and accomplishments at its core and values the contribution of each and every person\u2014no matter who they are.
