Now they&#8217;re taking their love for podcasts even further with the launch of selected video podcasts new to the platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Podcasts that are now available with video include the H3 Podcast, The Rooster Teeth Podcast, The Misfits Podcast, Fantasy Footballers, and more. Spotify are hoping that this new feature will create deeper connections between creators and listeners, saying that they allow users &#8220;to connect more deeply with their favourite podcasts.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In their feature announcement, Spotify said: &#8220;The new feature allows select creators to bring both audio and video content to Spotify, enabling them to connect more meaningfully with their listeners, expand viewership, and deepen audience engagement. It&#8217;s a way to enrich the audio experience &#8211; for fans and creators alike.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To start watching, just press play on your desktop or mobile app. The creator-made videos will start automatically and sync immediately with your audio feed. If you\u2019re multitasking between apps or want to lock your device during the episode, no worries: your audio will continue to play in the background with no interruption (and minimal data usage).
