Electro-Harmonix have proved themselves as one of the best guitar and bass pedal makers in the world and now they want to take their world-class quality to the fretboard.<\/span><\/h4>\n

We’re seeing lots of exciting news in the lead up to the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) show later this month. Electro-Harmonix have just revealed that they’ll take on the likes of Ernie Ball with their own range of electric guitar strings releasing later this year.<\/p>\n

The company famed for their awesome effects pedals are jumping into the guitar string game with their own range of nickel-wound strings in collaboration with a “premiere string manufacturer” in the USA. They promise the high quality steel and winding process results in strings that intonate accurately, are better at staying in tune and vibrate evenly for maximum sustain. They will offer three different thicknesses, offering Super Light (9-42), Regular Light (10-46), and Medium (11-48) sets.<\/p>\n

Electro-Harmonix founder, Mike Matthews says: “We used our experience in sonic innovation to create strings that will please the most discerning guitar players. They’re long lasting and deliver lightning fast playability with great tone and intonation. Try a set!”<\/p>\n

-Custom designed by EHX and made in the USA
\n-Available in three sets: Super Light (09-42), Regular Light (10-46) and Medium (11-48)
\n-Plain strings are round high-carbon steel wire
\n-Wound strings feature round nickel-plated steel that\u2019s precision-wrapped onto hex-shaped, high-carbon steel core wire
\n-Nickel-plated steel provides optimal magnetism for use with electric guitar pickups plus a comfortable, smooth feel
\n-The quality of the steel, the precision of the string and core diameters, and the high-tech computer-controlled winding process result in strings that intonate better and stay in tune longer<\/p>\n
