Spotify has brought more people in streaming music than ever before with record numbers of people listening to and subscribing to Spotify.<\/span><\/h4>\n

Spotify have revealed their latest numbers for listeners with 170 million people actively using Spotify every month to listen to music and 75 million Premium subscribers. They are adding roughly 2 million paying subscribers every month and have been since at least August last year when they hit 60 million subscribers<\/a> which signified growth of 2 million a month.<\/p>\n

Spotify say: “We’re continuing to provide the best streaming music experience, for our artists, our employees, and our millions of users. Having the support of our global audience helps make it so. Whether you’ve been streaming on Spotify for years, or downloaded the app just last week, we’re glad you’re with us. Happy listening!”<\/p>\n

Spotify last announced their numbers in January when they revealed 70 million people<\/a> around the world now pay to stream on Spotify every month. It looks likely that it could be less than another 3 months before we hear from Spotify again to celebrate 80 million total paid subscribers.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
