AWS will secure Live Nation&#8217;s online services across Ticketmaster and Corporate IT, including some of their Festival business.<\/p>\n<p>Live Nation&#8217;s global ticketing business receives 80 million online visits every month with roughly 530 million tickets sold every year. Ticketmaster&#8217;s websites will be migrated to AWS through a variety of it&#8217;s subsidiaries to &#8220;simplify management of large-scale databases and for storage of logs and static content&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Corporate IT&#8217;s transition will result in reduced costs and more flexibility that will allow them to align their focus on &#8220;more strategic initiatives&#8221;. It will use Amazon S3 for storage of data for disaster recovery, Amazon Workspaces for fully managed desktop computing services, and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) and Amazon Redshift for application hosting workloads.<\/p>\n<p>Live Nation CIO, David Huckabay said: &#8220;We have been working closely with the AWS team, and we are impressed with the superior security, performance, and reliability of their products.
