YouTube are adding\u00a0another app to their quickly increasing roster of mobile applications, this time to take videos offline, reduce data costs and receive personalised recommendations.<\/h4>\n

YouTube Go is a brand new app from the massive video sites that takes their recent Smart Offline feature<\/a> to the next level. Citing how data intensive video streaming is when roaming, on top of varying data connections providing drastically different streaming quality depending on location, YouTube have a solution to make it easier than ever before to watch YouTube on the go.<\/p>\n

YouTube say that they have four aims with YouTube Go, and that is to make it: Relatable, offline first, cost-effective, and social. They hope to achieve this with a user interface that prioritises personalised recommendations for you, videos that can be saved offline in quality of your choice and making data use transparent.<\/p>\n

Whether you’d like to save a video for offline viewing later, or stream it now, you can see and choose the amount of data you’d like to spend on that video.<\/p>\n
