Spotify, the world’s most successful music streaming service, is getting ready to bring it’s unlimited music platform to Japan by the end of the month.<\/h4>\n

It’s been 3 months since we last reported that Spotify were getting ready for a launch in Japan<\/a>, but this time it’s official and it’s coming in just a few weeks. Based on sales Japan is the second largest market for music in the world, making it a massively appealing country for Spotify and any other music services.<\/p>\n

Spotify have had an office in Tokyo for almost 2 years whilst it has been expanding it’s reach in Asia but curiously are only now ready to launch their service officially in Japan. Japan was rumoured to be getting Spotify alongside Indonesia, however when it launched in Indonesia in March they decided to focus on the one market.<\/p>\n

There isn’t a launch date for Spotify in Japan yet however it has been confirmed that it will arrive before the end of September. Spotify Premium will reportedly cost about 1,000 yen, which is pretty much worth it’s usual pricing of $10.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
