Rather than depicting anxiety as something that can simply be escaped, LOURNE frame it as a turbulent journey, one where navigating the waves is itself an act of survival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The pair describe the track as a journey through \u201cthe ups and downs, the highs and lows of a complex nervous system,\u201d using its dark and dynamic soundscape to represent the shifting landscape of the mind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rocky waters and thrashing waves become a metaphor for the intensity of anxious thought, while the act of remaining at the helm represents perseverance through uncertainty. It is a theme reflected in the track&#8217;s constantly evolving dynamics, with moments of crushing intensity giving way to more atmospheric and melodic passages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At its core, \u2018At the Helm\u2019 is an exploration of self-understanding.
