The figures come from the Italian music industry body <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fimi.it\/news\/musica-primo-semestre-2026-cresce-7-3\/\">FIMI<\/a>, which reported total recorded music revenues of approximately \u20ac224.7 million for the first six months of the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For independent artists and labels, the figures offer a useful look at where listeners are spending their time and money in one of Europe\u2019s major music markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>Streaming remains the biggest part of Italy\u2019s music market<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Streaming continues to dominate the Italian recorded music market, accounting for around 80% of the sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>More than 52 billion streams were recorded in Italy during the first half of 2026, generating around \u20ac179 million in revenue.
