That is the thinking behind the new Atonemo NTS Radio Player<\/a>, a compact streaming device created by Swedish audio company Atonemo in collaboration with NTS Radio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rather than putting another screen between you and your music, the player gives NTS Radio its own physical controls. Two buttons take you straight to NTS 1 or NTS 2, while a rotary dial lets you explore 16 themed infinite mixtapes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It can also work as a more conventional network music streamer, making it possible to connect your existing hi-fi, amplifier or powered speakers to services including Spotify, TIDAL and Qobuz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is the Atonemo NTS Radio Player?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Atonemo NTS Radio Player is a small Wi-Fi streaming device measuring just 105 x 70 x 23mm and weighing 0.2kg. Its main purpose is simple: connect it to an existing audio system and stream NTS Radio without needing a dedicated smart speaker or modern network-enabled hi-fi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The player uses a 3.5mm analogue audio output, with an RCA-to-AUX cable included in the box. That means it can connect to everything from a modern powered speaker setup to an older amplifier or vintage hi-fi system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The player supports 24-bit\/192kHz audio, with a signal-to-noise ratio above 110dB and total harmonic distortion plus noise below 0.005% at full output.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For listeners, the practical benefit is that the device is designed to fit into an existing setup rather than requiring you to replace your speakers or amplifier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
