From Wednesday’s first bands to Saturday’s final singalongs, here’s a look back at another unforgettable weekend at 2000trees Festival 2026.<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

There’s something about arriving at Upcote Farm that makes it feel like summer has properly started. After months of lineup announcements and counting down the days, you’re finally through the gates, pitching the tent and catching up with friends before the first bands get underway. Before you know it, it’s another year of Trees. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wednesday<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Wednesday is always my favourite day of the festival. There’s no rush yet and it\u2019s more intimate with only\u00a0 a portion of the whole capacity in attendance. People are still wandering around trying to remember where everything is, the bars aren’t three people deep and there’s enough time to actually stop and watch bands you’ve never heard before without worrying about missing someone else.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Forest Sessions were, as usual, a brilliant way to start the weekend. There’s something about watching bands in the middle of the trees that never gets old. SPRINTS were incredible, Lake Malice had one of the busiest crowds of the day headlining The Word, and everywhere you walked there seemed to be the best warm up atmosphere going on. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

By the evening, everyone had settled into festival mode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PUP closed the day with a performance of The Dream Is Over<\/em> in full, which felt like exactly the right way to officially kick things off. Walking back towards the campsite afterwards, you could already hear the silent disco starting up in the distance while thousands of people convinced themselves they’d definitely get an early night. Although I know I didn\u2019t.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thursday<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

By Thursday morning, the site was full and the festival had properly settled in. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Coach Party were one of the early highlights, drawing a packed crowd with a set that mixed infectious indie hooks with plenty of energy despite the heat. Bad Nerves were as relentless as ever, while Thursday’s appearance felt like one of those bookings that had been worth waiting for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Static Dress proved once again why they’re one of the UK’s most exciting live bands, packing out The Cave, and Superheaven delivered one of the most anticipated sets of the day. Between the main stages and the smaller tents, it felt like there was always something happening, making it almost impossible to stick to any plans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There had been plenty of discussion all week after Alkaline Trio were forced to cancel, but Don Broco stepped into the headline slot with less than a week’s notice and closed the night with a performance that kept the energy high (with plenty of pyro) until the end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Friday<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Friday always feels like the day where everything clicks. Even with Lambrini Girls pulling out before the weekend and the running order changing around, it never really felt like anything was missing. That’s one thing Trees has always done well, it adapts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Arcane Roots returning after so many years away was one of those sets people had been talking about all weekend before it even happened. The Axiom was absolutely packed long before they walked on stage, and for an hour it felt like nobody wanted to be anywhere else.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Later on, Funeral For A Friend delivered exactly what everyone wanted. Thousands of people shouting every word back at the stage never really gets old, and when Ben Barlow appeared towards the end, it was the perfect way to hand things over to Saturday’s headliners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Saturday<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Saturday always arrives far too soon. Everyone looks tired. The campsite is noticeably quieter in the morning. People start talking about packing up while pretending they aren’t already thinking about next year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Glassjaw, High Vis and Dinosaur Pile-Up all gave people plenty of reasons to forget about going home for a few more hours, before Neck Deep closed the festival in front of one of the biggest crowds of the weekend. Then, just like that, it was over.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Until the football and the silent disco, which I very eagerly enjoyed both! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next Time<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Looking back, 2026 felt like another great year for 2000trees. Despite the last-minute lineup changes and the relentless heat, the festival never lost what makes it special. The music was brilliant, the atmosphere was as welcoming as ever, and there was that familiar feeling of running into the same friendly faces wherever you went.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As always, the weekend disappeared far too quickly. Packing up on Sunday is never much fun, especially when you know it’ll be another year before everyone is back together at Upcote Farm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Until then, I’ll be missing my Trees family, and counting down the days until we’re all back again in 2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
